The Mondragó Natural Park stands out for its biodiversity and the richness of its landscapes. Hiking in the Mondragó Natural Park
If you are looking for a walking trail, you will find a total of five marked routes that lead you through the park’s most spectacular spots. All are easy to follow and take between 15 and 60 minutes. These are the routes within the Mondragó Natural Park:
- Ses Fonts de n’Alis viewpoint route: A short walk linking the Ses Fonts de n’Alis car park with the beach.
- Sa Guardia de’n Garrot loop: This route passes by Cala des Burgit, a small sandy treasure, and crosses a pine forest.
- Sa Punta de Ses Gatoves route: A trail that takes you through typical Mediterranean woodland along the coastline.
- S’Amarador route: This path leads to the beautiful S’Amarador beach, home to a rich variety of flora and fauna thanks to its lagoon environment.
- S’Hort d’en Metge route: The longest route, lasting around one hour, taking you across the dunes of S’Amarador and the agricultural estates inland.
Cala Mondragó and other beaches you should visit
Among the treasures of the Mondragó Natural Park are two of Mallorca’s most spectacular beaches: Cala Mondragó and S’Amarador. Their turquoise waters lapping against fine sand, combined with a pristine natural setting, create a dreamlike landscape for a perfect day by the sea.
There are also smaller, charming coves such as Caló des Burgit, a peaceful, lesser-known refuge ideal if you are looking for complete tranquillity.
