In the middle of the Mediterranean countryside, Finca Serena paints the prettiest of pictures; olive trees, lavender, pines, and holm oaks cooled by the Embat breezes that flow off the Serra de Tramuntana. 45-hectares of intense serenity in which to enjoy life’s most essential pleasures, and get back to a sense of things done well.
In this environment, less than 100 meters above sea level, in poor clay soil filled with rocks and stones, more than 40,000 vines fight to offer up their fruits. Yet the Pla de Mallorca offers some of the island’s most spectacular countryside. With more than 300 days of sunshine a year - mild winters and hot summers – and thermal winds that cool the vines, promote ripening, salinize the berries and add intense, unique flavours to the grape juice, it’s also the best region for wine.
Respect for the region’s heritage inspired us to plant only autochthonous varieties to produce a true, DO Tierra de Mallorca wine. Responsible, 100% ecological viticulture nurtures Premsal Blanc, Callet, Giró Ros and Monastrell varietals, while green pruning helps us get the best from the fruit. The expert hands of viticulturist, Tomeu Llabrés, provides rigour and a rich, Mallorcan authenticity to ensure consistently excellent wines.
